Megan is a marketing strategist and brand enthusiast with the ability and passion for assessing, analyzing, planning and sustaining any business’ marketing landscape. She has experience in creating and using messaging and visual brand platforms based on competitive and consumer intelligence. There are many marketing channels to make the ‘how’ come to life of a brand. Megan’s expertise supports those channels, including leadership alignment, corporate communications, marketing automation, web/digital strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, marketing plan development, implementation, and strategic direction. She makes it her mission to enhance business growth and efficiencies by connecting the dots within multi-faceted channels, offerings, and business initiatives to tell a cohesive story. She recommends solutions based on research and continued education efforts.
Megan gets results because she’s dependable, resilient, and results-oriented, with her desire for strong communication, and ability to see the consumer and business-centric connections from effective strategy and collaboration. Plus, she’s darn good fun to be around.
Megan has previously worked with Talavant as a strategic marketing consultant, where she developed the company’s brand messaging platform. She departed the consulting world to go full time in a strategic role for newer and developing brands, then came back full-circle, attracted by the growth and innovative-minded management style, when the opportunity arose to work for Talavant.
Most of her free time involves integrating a multi-sport and outdoor active lifestyle into her 6-person home. Megan is usually training for triathlon, running races, or supporting and coaching others to find their confidence in one of these disciplines. She is actively involved in the community, serving on Tri 4 Schools board of directors in Madison. When not training, she’s looking for the next outdoor adventure to spend with friends and family.
